About Plants

What are plants???
Plants are chlorophylls multicellular eukaryotic organisms,having cell wall and embryo development.All plants are autotroph and manufacture their own food for all forms of life hence they are called producers.
Types of plants
There are two main types of plants.They are;
Bryophtes
Bryophtes are also called non-vascular plants,because they do not have xylem and phloem to transport materials . They are defined as multicellular chlorophylls organisms having cell wall made up of cellulose and non-vascular plants.Bryophtes are amphibious plants which can not reproduce without water.They are found in shady places . They do not have well developed roots,stem and leaves.Instead of roots they have unicellular hair like structure called rhizoids.
Tracheophtes
Tracheophtes are vascular plants which have both xylem and phloem to transport material.They have well developed roots,stem and leaves.They vary greatly in height from miniature to the giant size.
