What is virus???
Virus is neither plant or animal therefore it is devoid of cell membrane or cell wall.They are non-cellular obligate parasites.They can not live or reproduce out side the living organism.They reproduce by replication.It is extremely covered with rigid protein coat called caspid. It is broader at one end and narrow at other called head and tail respectively.respectively. They lie between living and non-living organisms.

How virus is a living organism???
Virus is considered a living organism because of the following properties;
- Their RNA or DNA is surrounded by a protein coat somewhat resemble the chromosomes of other living organisms.
- They reproduce by replication.
- Many kinds of virus are known to undergo mutations.
- Virus show genetic recombination.
Virus is considered as a non-living organism because of the following properties;
