Muslim Scientists

Since people do not know history well about science they think it was the Europeans who started their work towards inventions and discoveries but it was not them but Arabs who started gaining knowledge and went in different places in search of it after conversion to Islam following its teachings. During this time the Europeans were behind the others and accepted the things told by their pope and were in dark ages. It was not until they came against Muslims In crusades when the started to come know of new discoveries, like the earth is round about which they were told by pope that it was flat due to which they were also scared of going deep into the sea.
The information is being shared so that the others may also come to know the share of Muslim scientists to the knowledge we have today.

Ibn al-Haitham

He is also known as Alhazen was the first person to realize that light enters the eye and than we see. He was the 10th century Muslim mathematician, astronomer & physicist. He invented the first pin-hole camera after noticing the way light came through a hole in window shutters. The smaller the hole, better the picture, he worked out and setup the first obscure from the Arabic word Qamara meaning dark or private room. He is also credited with being the first man shift physics from a philosophical activity to an experimental one.He also wrote books 'Kitabul Minazir ' and 'Minazul Hikma'.

Abbas Ibn Firnas

People might think that it was wright brothers who were the first, who tried to fly but it was a thousand year before Wright brothers a Muslim poet, astronomer, musician & engineer named Abbas Ibn Firnas made several attempts to construct a flying machine. In 852 AD he jumped from the minaret of the Grand Mosque in Cardoba using a loose cloak stiffed with wooden struts. He hoped to glide like a bird but he did not. The cloak slowed down his fall, creating what is thought to be a parachute, leaving him with only minor injuries. In875 AD, aged 70, having perfected a machine of silk and eagle's feathers he tried again jumping from a mountain. He flew to a significant height and stayed aloft for ten minutes but crashed on landing - concluding, correctly, that it was because he had not given his device a tail.
Baghdad international airport and a crater on the moon is named after him.

Jaber-bin-Hayan
Jaber-bin-Hayan is the first to work and become genius in old chemistry where even Arabs nominated general chemistry as "handwork of Jaber" referring to that Jaber-bin-hayan is the first of the fellowship. He disclose its plural and its entire. He addressed the metals, oxides and salts, the sulfuric and nitric acids and anhydride, also addressed and refined alkali with crystallization and distillery, filtration and escalation.

Al-Khawarizmi
In 820 A.D, the Muslim Mathematician, Al-Khwarizmi, wrote the algebraic text entitled Al-Jabr wa-al-Muqabilah (the science of cancellation and reduction). A Latin translation of this text became known in Europe under the title Al-Jabr. It is still in use today. Al-Khwarizmi was known as the "father" of Algebra. The work of Muslim math scholars was imported to Europe 300 years later by an Italian mathematician Fibanacci. Algorithms and much of the theory of trigonometry came from the Muslim world.

Ibn -Sina
Ibn -Sina was an eye specialist and Hakim of his time . He worked on structure , function and diseases of eye. He also worked on the field of medicines. he designed advance drugs based on drug delivery , targeting the organ , deposition of the site of action , pain control , wound healing and supporting the organs . His contribution has helped scientists in choosing better drugs with a historical background to reduce the cost of therapies and research projects .

Message: It is the extract of all advices for, who can understand.....
The reason as to why Muslims were ahead in knowledge at that time and not today is mainly because they used to take world and Islam (Islam is not a religion, but a code of life and the truth and based on practical) together at that time but today secularism has taken over and now world and Islam are considered to be two different things where Islam is taken as a matter of an individual and world for the rest. While in reality everything has been created in balance. Islam cannot be followed until it is taken to be a way of life.
